Adding Run-Time Files to an OS Design (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

In Platform Builder for Windows Embedded CE 6.0, you can add run-time files to the currently active OS design.

To add run-time files to an OS design

  1. In the Catalog Items View, from the toolbar, choose Catalog Items View Filter and then make sure that All Catalog Items in Catalog is selected.

  2. To add a Catalog item to the OS design, navigate to the Catalog item and then select the associated check box for the item.

    Note

If you include a .dll file built from a Debug configuration, copy the file and the corresponding program database (.pdb) file to %PBWORKSPACEROOT%\Wince600<BSP>\Cesysgen\Oak\Target%_TGTCPU%\Debug. If you include a .dll file built from a Release configuration, copy the .dll file and the corresponding .pdb file to %PBWORKSPACEROOT%\Wince600<BSP>\Cesysgen\Oak\Target%_TGTCPU%\Release. When the Build Release Directory tool (Buildrel.bat) is run, the .dll and .pdb files are copied to %_FLATRELEASEDIR%.
