GPE::MovePointer (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

This method executes from applications either to move the hot spot of the cursor to a specific screen location or to hide the cursor.

Syntax

SCODE GPE::MovePointer(
  int x,
  int y
);

Parameters

  • x
    [in] Horizontal screen location to move the cursor to. Applications can pass a value of –1 to hide the cursor.
  • y
    [in] Vertical screen location to move the cursor to.

Return Value

None.

Remarks

Cursor display is optional. The requirements of the target platform determine whether cursors are necessary. If the platform uses a stylus or a shell without a pointer, no cursor is necessary, and the GPE pointer methods can return S_OK without doing any work. Furthermore, it may be acceptable, depending on the target platform display hardware, to display only monochrome cursors.
