The following table shows the file allocation table (FAT) file system utility functions.
Function | Description |
---|---|
Defragments files on a volume and removes any free space in fragmentation. It calls scan disk first to verify that the volume is free from errors. |

Defragments a volume according to the options specified. It has a dialog box user interface (UI) that can be displayed by itself or invoked from another place such as Control Panel. |
