This topic provides information helpful for migrating applications that use the RTC Client API from previous versions of Windows Embedded CE to Windows CE 5.0.

  Note

  In previous releases of RTC, the base registry key was HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\RTC. This has been changed to the secure registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMM\RTC.

  RTC NAT traversal based on the UPnP protocol has been removed.
