LVM_SETTOOLTIPS (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This message sets the ToolTip control that the list-view control will use to display ToolTips. You can send this message explicitly or use the ListView_SetToolTips macro.

To send this message, call the SendMessage function.

Syntax

lResult = SendMessage(
   (HWND) hWndControl,
   (UINT) LVM_SETTOOLTIPS,
   (WPARAM) wParam,    // = 0; not used, must be zero
   (LPARAM) lParam     // = (LPARAM) (HWND) hwndToolTip;
); 

Parameters

• wParam
  Must be zero.

• hwndToolTip
  Handle to the ToolTip control to be set.

Return Value

Returns the handle to the previous ToolTip control.
