Navigating Back to a Previous Boot Menu (Compact 7)

This test verifies that a bootloader allows proper navigation of menus, especially those with menu hierarchy.

Your device must meet the following requirements before you run this test.

Setting Up the Test
See the bootloader documentation provided with the hardware platform for instructions on how to enter the bootloader menu. In many cases, this might involve some or all of the following steps:
1. Connect a serial cable to the device.
2. Start a terminal program (such as HyperTerminal) to interact with the bootloader via the serial port.
3. While in the terminal program, push a key (ex: SPACEBAR) on the keyboard to enter the bootloader soon after powering on the device.
Running the Test
After bringing the bootloader menu into view (for example, via a terminal program connected to the device with a serial cable), for each bootloader menu item:
1. Select the menu item.
2. Navigate back to the Home menu.
Verifying the Test
Verify the following:
1.There is a means for navigating through the menus.
2.You can get back to the previous menu without changing a setting.
