Network Bridging Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables (Compact 2013)
3/26/2014
In Windows Embedded Compact, you can support adding a Windows Embedded Compact powered device to a network bridge by creating a single virtual network interface card (NIC) for that device when it has multiple NIC drivers.
For more information about how to add or remove catalog items, see Create Your First OS.
Hardware and Software Requirements
- Requires an Ethernet local area network (LAN). For more information, see Wired Local Area Network (LAN) Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires NDIS and multiple NIC drivers. For more information, see Network Driver Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
