Flash Drivers (Compact 7)
3/12/2014
Flash memory is a type of constantly powered, nonvolatile memory that can be erased and reprogrammed. Flash memory is often used for mass storage and storage of media files. Windows Embedded Compact 7 flash drivers use a componentized model that consists of a model device driver (MDD) and platform-dependent driver (PDD). Flash drivers enable communication between a Windows Embedded Compact device and flash memory.
To add this feature to your OS, see Flash Drivers Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
For reference information, see Flash Drivers Reference.
