Extensible Authentication Protocol Host (Compact 2013)

3/26/2014

Extensible Authentication Protocol Host (EAPHost) is a networking component that provides an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) infrastructure for the authentication of supplicant protocol implementations such as 802.1X and Point-to-Point (PPP). EAPHost allows for authentication with authenticator technologies such as the Microsoft network policy server (NPS).

The EAPHost API enables applications to authenticate by using the EAPHost service, and provides a template for developing conformant authentication methods for use with EAPHost.
