The PR_MSG_STATUS property contains a bitmask of property tags that define the status of a message.

Remarks

The methods IMAPIProp::GetProps and IMAPIProp::SetProps are used to get and set message status information. IMAPIProp::GetProps returns the DWORD parameter lppPropArray, which contains a bitmask composed of a combination of zero or more property tags combined with the bitwise OR (|). LppPropArray's HIWORD contains a bitmask composed by combining property tags defined in the header file cemapi.h, while the LOWORD contains a bitmask composed by combining property tags defined in the header file mapidefs.h.
