This method retrieves a value that describes the horizontal or vertical orientation of stacked content in this object.

Syntax

virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE GetOrientation(
    __out XROrientation* pOrientation
) = 0;

Parameters

• pOrientation
  [out] Pointer to an XROrientation enumerated value that defines whether the stacked content in this control is displayed horizontally or vertically.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.

Remarks

In a stack panel, child elements are displayed in a single line, which is oriented either horizontally or vertically.
