3/12/2014
In Windows Embedded Compact, you can implement Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) to use network traffic processing filtering to develop a custom application that helps make network communications more secure.
For more information, see Windows Filtering Platform.
For more information about how to add or remove catalog items, see Design Your First OS.
Hardware and Software Requirements
- Requires a network connection and NDIS. For more information, see Network Driver Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires Authentication Services (SSPI), Credential Manager, and Certificates (CryptoAPI 2.0). For more information, see Authentication Services Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables, Credential Manager Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables, and Certificates Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
