Modifying the NEC DDB-Vr4122 (Eagle) SDB Switches and Jumpers

You need to modify the switches and jumpers on the NEC DDB-Vr4122 (Eagle) SDB in order to execute the boot loader code.

To modify the NEC DDB-Vr4122 (Eagle) SDB switches and jumpers

  • Verify that the switches are in the correct On or Off position. The following table shows the functionality of the DIP switch labeled DSW1. The left side is DSW1-1, and the right side is DSW1-4.
    S1-1 S1-2 S1-3 S1-4 Function
    On Off Off Off Boot ROM monitor program.
    Off Off Off Off Jump to ROM Eboot.
    X Off Off On Jump to flash image, Eboot or Nk.
