Supporting KITL in a Platform
The Kernel Independent Transport Layer (KITL) provides a hardware-independent mechanism for communication between the development workstation and a target device. For more information about KITL, see Kernel Independent Transport Layer.
To support KITL in a platform
- In the Platform Builder IDE, from the Platform menu, choose Settings.
- Choose the Build Options tab.
- Select the Enable KITL check box, and then choose OK.
You must build the platform to add support for KITL to the OS image. For more information, see Building a Platform.
