IRTCProfile::UserName

This method gets the user name associated with the profile.

HRESULT get_UserName(
  BSTR* pbstrUserName
);

Parameters

  • pbstrUserName
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that will be filled with the user name, or an empty string if there is no entry. The method is responsible for allocating the buffer. The caller is responsible for releasing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Values

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant. The following table shows the possible return values.

Value Description
E_FAIL No user name was found.

Remarks

The user name is an optional field in the profile. If the field is not present in the profile, the method will return E_FAIL.
