Television-Style Navigation Registry Settings

The following table shows the default values for the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main settings that define the characteristics of the browser UI for television-style navigation.

Value : type Description
Force-Fit Layout : REG_DWORD The default value is set to 1 to reformat Web pages to eliminate horizontal scrolling.
Directional Tabbing : REG_DWORD The default value is set to 1 to enable directional tabbing. Set to 0 to disable directional tabbing.
Focus Rectangle : REG_DWORD The default value is set to 1 to display focus rectangle over web page. Set to 0 to disable focus rectangle.
Focus Rectangle Side Thickness : REG_DWORD The default value is set to 5, to set side width of focus rectangle frame.
Focus Rectange Top Thickness : REG_DWORD The default value is set to 5 to set top width of focus rectangle frame.
Focus Rectangle Transparency Color : REG_SZ The default value is set to "255, 255, 0" to create a transparent window.
Scrollbar : REG_DWORD The default is set to 0, to disable vertical scroll bars.
