Remote System Information
The Remote System Information window displays system settings and properties for a target device. The window displays this information only for platforms created with Platform Builder.
In Remote System Information, to display system settings and properties for a target device, you must first connect to the target device with Platform Manager. For more information about connecting to a target device with Platform Manager, see Application Connectivity.
The user interface (UI) for Remote System Information is similar to the Windows Explorer UI. The left pane of the Remote System Information UI displays folders in a nested, hierarchical view. For a selected folder in the left pane, the right pane displays the system items that are associated with that folder.
Remote System Information displays general system information for a target device, including the name of the operating system (OS), the name and model of the CPU, and other information. Remote System Information also displays information about the target device's UI, system memory, system power, and so on.
