IRTCProfile::ClientData

This method gets from the profile the XML string that contains the client's private data tag.

HRESULT get_ClientData(
  BSTR* pbstrData
);

Parameters

  • pbstrData
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that will be filled with the client data, or an empty string if there is no entry. The method is responsible for allocating the buffer. The caller is responsible for releasing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Values

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant. The following table shows the possible return values.

Value Description
E_FAIL No data was found.

Remarks

This is an optional field in the profile. If the field is not present in the profile, the method will return E_FAIL.
