IActiveIMMIME::GetProperty method

Gets the property and capabilities of the Active Input Method Editor (IME) that is associated with the specified keyboard layout.

Syntax

HRESULT GetProperty(
  [in]  DWORD hKL,
  [in]  DWORD fdwIndex,
  [out] DWORD *pdwProperty
);

Parameters

• hKL [in]
  A handle to the keyboard layout.

• fdwIndex [in]
  An unsigned long integer value that contains the type of property information to get.

• pdwProperty [out]
  The address of an unsigned long integer value that receives the property or capability value, depending on the value of the fdwIndex parameter.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method maps to the ImmGetProperty function that is documented in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK).
