<Operating_System> Application Report
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Vista
The <Operating_System> - Application Report screen enables you to view the following information for each of your organization's installed applications:
The application name, the vendor, and the version number
Your organization's assessment of whether the application works
Whether to include the application's information during the synchronization process
The authoritative sources' assessment (includes the vendor and Microsoft) of whether the application works on a computer running a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system
The ACT community's assessment of whether the application works on a computer running on a 32-bit and 64-bit operating system

The total number of active issues found for the application
The total number of computers with the application installed
To access the <Operating_System> - Application Report screen
Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.
Click Applications from the appropriate operating system heading in the Quick Reports pane. For example, click Applications from underneath the Windows 7 Reports heading.
The <Operating_System> - Application Report screen appears.
Using the <Operating_System> - Application Report Screen
On the <Operating_System> - Application Report screen, you can:
Review the high-level application information, including the application name, vendor, version number, and so on.
Open an existing report, including any associated preferences.
Save your report. Saving a report includes any preferences, including your filter criteria.
Export your report data to a Microsoft® Office Excel® spreadsheet file (.xls file). For more information about saving, opening, or exporting a report, see Saving, Opening, and Exporting Reports and Report Data.
Synchronize your compatibility issue data. For more information, see Sending and Receiving Compatibility Data.
Filter your data by using the query builder. For more information, see Filtering Your Compatibility Data.
Select your application assessment. For more information, see Selecting Your Assessment Rating.
Select your deployment status for the application. For more information, see Selecting Your Deployment Status.
Categorize the application. For more information, see Categorizing Your Data.
Prioritize the application. For more information, see Prioritizing Your Data.
Determine whether to synchronize specific application data with the Microsoft Compatibility Exchange. For more information, see Selecting Your Send and Receive Status.
Double-click an application name to view its associated dialog box, which includes tabs for your assessment, issue, application properties, and computer details.
