RAS Total Object
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
The RAS Total performance object consists of counters that combine values for all ports of the remote access service (RAS) device on the computer.
Counter Name | Description | Counter Type |
---|---|---|
Alignment Errors |
Shows the total number of alignment errors for this connection. Alignment errors occur when a received byte is different from the expected byte. |
|
Buffer Overrun Errors |
Shows the total number of buffer overrun errors for this connection. Buffer overrun errors occur when the software cannot handle the rate at which data is received. |
|
Bytes Received |
Shows the total number of bytes that were received for this connection. |
|
Bytes Received/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were received. |
|
Bytes Transmitted |
Shows the total number of bytes that were transmitted for this connection. |
|
Bytes Transmitted/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were transmitted. |
|
CRC Errors |
Shows the total number of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors for this connection. CRC errors occur when the frame that is received contains erroneous data. |
|
Frames Received |
Shows the total number of data frames that were received for this connection. |
|
Frames Received/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which frames were received. |
|
Frames Transmitted |
Shows the total number of data frames that were transmitted for this connection. |
|
Frames Transmitted/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which frames were transmitted. |
|
Percent Compression In |
Shows the compression ratio for bytes that were received. |
|
Percent Compression Out |
Shows the compression ratio for bytes that were transmitted. |
|
Serial Overrun Errors |
Shows the total number of serial overrun errors for this connection. Serial overrun errors occur when the hardware cannot handle the rate at which data is received. |
|
Timeout Errors |
Shows the total number of timeout errors for this connection. Timeout errors occur when an expected packet is not received within the time expected. |
|
Total Connections |
Shows the total number of remote access connections. |
|
Total Errors |
Shows the total number of CRC, timeout, serial overrun, alignment, and buffer overrun errors for this connection. |
|
Total Errors/sec |
Shows the total rate, in incidents per second, of CRC, timeout, serial overrun, alignment, and buffer overrun errors. |
