Managing Applications and Web Service Extensions Using Scripts

You can use two command-line scripts, which are stored in systemroot\system32, to configure and manage applications, Web service extensions, and individual files on computers running a member of the Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 family with Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0.

Iisext.vbs can enable and list applications; add and remove application dependencies; enable, disable, and list Web service extensions; and add, remove, enable, disable, and list individual files.

Iisapp.vbs can list applications that are running.
