Manage queues on other computers

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To manage queues on other computers

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. Right-click Computer Management, and then click Connect to another computer.

  3. In the Select Computer dialog box, select the computer on which you want to manage queues, and then click OK.

  4. Perform the desired task as you would for the local computer.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  • To manage public queues, you must have access to Active Directory.

  • You cannot manage private queues located in a remote computer.

  • You can also perform this task using the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in. For more information, see Related Topics.
