Enable the use of persistent connections with pull partners

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 8 Beta

To enable the use of persistent connections with pull partners

  1. Open WINS.

  2. In the console tree, click Replication Partners.

    Where?

    • WINS/applicable WINS server/Replication Partners
  3. On the Action menu, click Properties.

  4. Click the Pull Replication tab.

  5. Select the Use persistent connections for pull replication partners check box.

Note

  • To open WINS, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click WINS.
