Notes
To complete this procedure, you need the appropriate administrative credentials for the affected Removable Storage item. To maintain system security, rather than logging in as an administrator, log in as a user without administrative credentials, and run Removable Storage as an administrator by right-clicking the Computer Management icon, clicking Run As, and choosing an account in the local Administrators group.
To open Removable Storage, click Start and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. In the console tree, double-click Storage and then click Removable Storage.
This procedure applies only to automated libraries.
The type of inventory performed will be the default for that library.
An inventory is automatically performed each time a library door has been accessed.
The inventory is performed according to the default inventory method: either Fast, Full, or None. For information on how to change the default inventory method, see Related Topics.
