Stop and restart Print Server for Macintosh

To stop and restart Print Server for Macintosh

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, click Services.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Services
  3. Right-click Print Server For Macintosh.

  4. Click Stop or Start as appropriate.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

  • You would want to stop and restart Print Server for Macintosh to remove a printing device, for example.

  • Print Server for Macintosh is not available on the 64-bit versions of the Windows operating systems.
