View a List of .NET Profile Settings (IIS 7)

To manage .NET profile settings easily, you can view a list that contains all .NET profile settings for a particular configuration level. You can sort this list by name, data type, default value, availability of the .NET profile property to unauthenticated users, or scope (local or inherited). You can also group .NET profile settings by scope to see quickly which .NET profile settings apply at the current configuration level and which .NET profile settings are inherited from a parent level.

To view a list of .NET profile settings
You can perform this procedure by using the user interface (UI), by running Appcmd.exe commands in a command-line window, by editing configuration files directly, or by writing WMI scripts.
User Interface
To Use the UI
Open IIS Manager and navigate to the level you want to manage. For information about opening IIS Manager, see Open IIS Manager (IIS 7). For information about navigating to locations in the UI, see Navigation in IIS Manager (IIS 7).
In Features View, double-click .NET Profile.
Command line
To view a list of .NET Profile settings, use the following syntax:
appcmd list config /section:profile
