Overview of Terminal Services Configuration

You can use Terminal Services Configuration to configure settings for new connections, modify the settings of existing connections, and delete connections. You can configure settings on a per-connection basis, or for the server as a whole.

Important

You can only use Terminal Services Configuration in Windows Server 2008 to configure a terminal server running Windows Server 2008.

In addition, new in Terminal Services Configuration for Windows Server 2008 is the Licensing Diagnosis tool. Licensing Diagnosis provides information to help identify possible TS Licensing problems for the terminal server.
