Repair a Disconnected Topology

Follow this procedure to repair a disconnected topology.

To repair a disconnected topology

  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click DFS Management.

  2. In the console tree, under the Replication node, click the replication group that contains the disconnected topology.

  3. In the details pane, on the Connections tab, click the error message at the top of the tab to open the Disconnected Topology dialog box.

  4. To view disconnected members, select a replicated folder from the Replicated folder list, and then expand the Disconnected Members.

  5. Click Close.

  6. Repair the topology by performing any of the following procedures, as appropriate:

Tip

In some instances you might have to remove disconnected members and then add them back to the replication group to repair a disconnected topology.
