Product: Windows Operating System
ID: 38
Source: Microsoft-Windows-PrintBRM

Resolve

Manually delete temporary files

Temporary files in the temp path were not deleted. No user action is required unless you want to recover the disk space consumed by the temporary files. To do so, manually delete the temporary files by using the following procedure:

  1. Open Windows Explorer, and type the path to the temporary folder (usually C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp in the Address bar. To find the temporary folder path, open the Command Prompt window and then type set temp.
  2. Select all temporary files and folders created during the import or export process, right-click the list, and then click Delete.

Verify

To verify that print migration is functioning properly, perform the following actions:

  • Try printing to each affected printer. All documents should print properly.
  • If the printers were not imported or exported successfully, retry importing or exporting the printers and then verify that the Printer Migration Wizard reports the following outcome: "The operation completed with no errors."
