Resolve
Re-register the event class
The event class registration may be corrupt. COM+ removed the event class. You must register the event class again so that it can be used. To register the event class again, use the Component Services administrative tool.
To register the event class again:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- Type comexp.msc, and then click OK. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
- Click Component Services, click Computers, click My Computer.
- Right-click COM+ Applications, click New, and then click Application.
- Follow the instructions in the COM+ Application Install Wizard.
- Under COM+ Applications, click the new application, right-click Components, click New, and then click Component.
- Follow the instructions in the COM+ Component Install Wizard to install a new event class. The process of installing a new event class registers the event class again.
For more information about registering an event class, see Registering an Event Class (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=109800).
