Update the global query block list

You can use this procedure to replace or remove the names in the global query block list on the Domain Name System (DNS) server. For more information about the global query block list, see Managing the Global Query Block List.
Membership in Administrators, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).
To update the global query block list
Open a command prompt. To open an elevated Command Prompt window, click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
dnscmd [<ServerName>] /config /globalqueryblocklist [<name> [<name>]...]

Required. Specifies that the command applies to the global query block list. |
<name> |
Specifies the host names that are to be included in the global query block list. Separate multiple names with blank spaces. If you do not specify a name, all names are removed from the global query block list. |
