Moving a Domain Controller to a Different Site

This topic explains how to use the Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell to move a domain controller to a different site in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
Example
The following example demonstrates how to move the domain controller Fabrikam-DC2 to the site HQ in the Fabrikam.com domain:
Move-ADDirectoryServer -Identity Fabrikam-DC2 -Site "CN=HQ,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=FABRIKAM,DC=COM"
