URL Rewrite Maps Page
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
Use the URL Rewrite Maps page to specify rewrite maps. Each rewrite map may contain a series of mapping entries, and each entry contains a mapping of an original value to a rewritten value.
UI Element List
The following tables describe the UI elements that are available in Features View and in the Actions pane.
Features View Elements
Element Name | Description |

Name |
Specifies the name for a rewrite map. |
Number of items |
Specifies the number of mapping entries in a rewrite map. |
Default value |
Specifies the default value to use when a key is not found in the rewrite map. |
Actions Pane Elements
Element Name | Description |

Add Rewrite Map |
Opens the Add Rewrite Map Dialog from which you can specify the name of a new rewrite map. |
Edit Rewrite Map |
Opens the Edit Rewrite Map Page from which you can edit the list of entries in a rewrite map. This action is available only when a rewrite map is selected from the list on the feature page. |
Remove |
Removes the selected rewrite maps. This action is available only when a rewrite map is selected from the list on the feature page. |
