Allowed Server Variables Page

The Allowed Server Variables page is used to specify the list of server variables that may be modified by rewrite rules.

Important

Server variables that are not included in this list may not be modified by rewrite rules.

Note

The Allowed Server Variables page was introduced in URL Rewrite version 2.0.

UI Element List

The following tables describe the UI elements that are available in Features View and in the Actions pane.

Features View Elements

Element Name Description

Name

Specifies the name of the server variable.

Entry Type

Specifies whether the server variable is Local or Inherited.

Actions Pane Elements

Element Name Description

Add…

Opens the Add Server Variable Dialog Box, from which you can add a server variable to the list of allowed server variables.

Rename

Allows you to rename the selected server variable. This action is available only when a server variable is selected from the list on the feature page.

Remove

Allows you to remove the selected server variable from the list. This action is available only when a server variable is selected from the list on the feature page.
