Impersonation Page

Use the Impersonation feature page to enable Web Playlists to connect to media assets that are protected by credentials under the context of an authenticated Windows client. For more information, see Adding Entries Protected by Credentials.

Path |
Displays the path of the secured folder that stores the media assets on the local computer (for example, C:\inetpub\wwwroot\media\) or on a shared network resource (for example, \\network_computer_name\shared_folder_name\media\).

User Name |
Displays the name of the account that Web Playlists impersonates on behalf of the client to access media assets in the secured folder. |

Log On Method |
Displays the logon method that Web Playlists impersonates on behalf of the client to access media assets in the secured folder. |
Actions Pane Elements

Add |
Opens the Add Impersonation Setting dialog box in which you can specify the account that Web Playlists should impersonate. |
Return To Playlists |
Returns to the Playlists feature page. |
