Verify the migration by using the listener service
To verify the migration of the RD Session Host server, check if the listener service is listening on port 3389.
The listener component runs on the RD Session Host server and is responsible for listening for and accepting new Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client connections.
To connect to the listener service
On the RD Session Host server, click Start, click Run, type cmd and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type netstat -a and then press ENTER.
The entry for 0.0.0.0:3389 (TCP port 3389) should be Listening.
Verify the migration by using Qwinsta
To verify the migration of the RD Session Host server by using Qwinsta, check status information for the RD Session Host server. To check the status of the RD Session Host server, see the instructions in Query session (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=195058).
