To create a wireless connection

  1. Click the Network icon in the task bar notification area. The Connections are available dialog box opens.

  2. In Connections are available, ensure that Wireless Network Connection is expanded to reveal the list of available wireless networks. Click the name of the wireless network to which you want to connect. For example, if you want to connect to the Example wireless network, click Example. Click Connect. Depending on whether the wireless network is a secure or unsecured network:

    • If you are connecting to an unsecured network, the connection succeeds and you can begin to use the wireless network.
