Autoriser les utilisateurs non administrateurs à installer des imprimantes sur macOS

Par défaut, l’installation d’imprimantes sur macOS nécessite que les utilisateurs soient administrateurs. Cette valeur par défaut est contrôlée par les paramètres de stratégie et /etc/cups/cupsd.conf peut être modifiée.

Si les appareils de vos utilisateurs sont gérés par une solution GPM telle qu’Intune ou jamf, vous pouvez utiliser un script pour mettre à jour le fichier et supprimer les privilèges d’administration de la stratégie d’autorisation. Consultez l’exemple de script ci-dessous.

Instructions

  1. Mettez à jour la directive sur la <Limit> ligne 59 pour ajouter CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Cette balise est le groupe d’accès par défaut sans Require clause, ce qui permet à n’importe quel utilisateur d’installer/supprimer/de modifier des imprimantes.
  2. Mettez à jour la directive sur la <Limit> ligne 75 pour supprimer CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Ce groupe d’accès nécessite @SYSTEM des autorisations. Nous voulons donc supprimer cette exigence.

Exemple de fichier

Si vous n’avez pas modifié votre cupsd.conf fichier d’une autre manière, vous pouvez copier/coller ce contenu exactement. Sinon, il sert de référence. Le fichier d’origine est également ci-dessous, à des fins de comparaison.
