Interprétation d’un exemple de fichier journal SetupAPI

Les exemples de journaux ci-dessous illustrent les informations contenues dans un fichier journal SetupAPI.

En général, toutes les parties d’une installation apparaissent ensemble dans le fichier journal. Une section d’installation dans le journal commence par une entrée au format [year/month/day time process-id.instance description] où instance est un nombre qui garantit que deux sections instanciées en même temps pour le même processus sont uniques.

Exemple de fichier journal SetupAPI Windows XP

Pour Windows XP, chaque entrée de journal inclut un identificateur de message composé d’une lettre ou d’un tiret (-) suivi d’un nombre. Le tableau suivant décrit le format des identificateurs de message.
