Role Designer (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data)
Use Role Designer in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) and SQL Server Management Studio to define or modify a role. You can display the Role Designer dialog box in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) by:
Right-clicking the Roles folder in an Analysis Services project in Solution Explorer and selecting New Role.
Double-clicking a role in Solution Explorer or right-clicking a role in Solution Explorer and selecting Open or View Designer.
You can display Role Designer in SQL Server Management Studio by right-clicking the Roles folder or a role in an Analysis Services database in Object Explorer and selecting New Role.
