Microsoft grounds "Discovery" Suite

We announced last week that the project to combine our e-business products into a single suite has been stopped for the time being. This article in CRN states we made the decision in response to customer input who were not so interested in buying a software suite. Nobody tell that to the Office team! :-)

Personally I thought rolling BizTalk, CMS and Commerce Server into a single suite was a great idea, as long as you could continue to buy each product separately as well (like Office).

  :( The commerce-cms-biztalk suite sounded like a good thing, esp. since it was rumoured to be cheaper, then the separate products combined.
