Initializes a new instance of the ValidationException class with the specified error message, parameters, and inner exception.

Parameters

  • message
    Type: System..::.String
    The error message that explains the reason for the exception.
  • propertyName
    Type: System..::.String
    The name of the property that caused the exception.
  • inner
    Type: System..::.Exception
    The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.

Remarks

All catalog exceptions, including the ValidationException are derived from the CatalogException class. When a validation is performed using invalid values, the ValidationException is thrown.
