This article provides information about Copilot Studio regional availability and the agent and authoring languages that Copilot Studio supports.

Regional availability

Copilot Studio agent builder is available in the following geographies:

  • Asia Pacific
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Europe
  • France
  • Germany
  • India
  • Japan
  • South America
  • Switzerland
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

Geographic availability is based on Copilot Studio’s data locations.

Agent languages

A user can chat with an agent created using the Copilot Studio agent builder in the following languages:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • Simplified Chinese

You can create agents to engage with users in any of the supported languages.

Authoring languages

The authoring language is the one in which the authoring UI is presented. By default, this language is your Microsoft 365 language setting. You can change the authoring language by changing your Microsoft 365 language setting.

The following authoring languages are supported:
