A Place for my Stuff

As George Carlin once said, we all need a place for our stuff. I now have a place for the digital stuff associated with this blog -- like zip files and snappy graphics. Just call me another satisfied winisp user.

I am working on a couple of things right now, the more interesting of which being an XSLT extension object for manipulating (read/modify) BizTalk Server 2006 settings using the ExplorerOM API and some nice WMI thrown in for good measure. The WMI functionality will allow ad-hoc queries and method invocations against any WMI provider. It has been a nice way to learn parts of the API.

The other project involves the Microsoft Management Console. Have you seen MMC 3.0? Would you like to try your hand at writing your own console? The SDK is still pre-release but worth a look. Don't try to extend the BizTalk Server 2006 Management console; it is compatible with MMC2.0 only.
