Microsoft BizTalk Server and Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet (BTARN) provide features and tools in the environment appropriate for the role of the user. These features and tools enable rapid development, deployment, operations, management, and business use.

Features and Tools

Tools for the developer are integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET. Developers can manage their solutions and projects in Solution Explorer, and have immediate access to the BizTalk design-time tools.

Microsoft Management Console (MMC) hosts the tools for the IT professional. Interface analysts, IT implementers, and IT operators administer their BTARN system through the MMC-based BizTalk Administration console, BizTalk Explorer, BTARN Management Console, and other run-time tools.

Business analysts and other information workers analyze the state of their business and have access to business data through their own set of BizTalk Server tools.

The BTARN SDK provides a number of tools that you may find useful in developing and managing your system.
