Name Field, Accounting Period Table
Specifies the name of the accounting period.
The program will enter the name of the month corresponding to the starting date as a default. If you enter 010100 in the Starting Date field, for example, the program will enter January as a default in the Name field.
If the accounting periods you use are not one month long, it is a good idea to replace the default name with one that is more descriptive, such as:
quarter1, 1st period, 1st half
You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.
