Posting Group Field, Purchase Line Table
Specifies the inventory posting group or fixed asset posting group associated with the item or fixed asset on the line.
If the line contains an item, the program automatically retrieves the inventory posting group from the Item table. The program uses the inventory posting group to find the inventory account for the line.
If the line contains a fixed asset, the FA posting group is copied from the FA Depreciation Book table. The fixed asset posting group determines a number of accounts which will be posted to.
