Tech Ed EMEA 08 Powerpoints and Demos
Another great year in Barcelona. In addition to the sessions below, we had several nights out on the town. As usual, we had the Microsoft Regional Director get togethers. It's always interesting when you have social geeks out on the town. Chris Menegay and I decided to make it a late night on Friday. I had to be ready to leave at 4:40am to catch my flight anyway. The bars down at the water front are always fun to "see the people".
I should also mention a great tasting menu restaurant that Shanku Niyogi introduced us to a few years ago Cinc Sentits. About 14 of us, including Pat Helland, Rocky Lhotka and his lovely wife, Brian Randell, Lisa Feigenbaum, David Hill, Kathy Kam, William Oellermann (an old friend from Dallas), Karen Liu all went. Great food and wine, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Hi Byron, I assume you're looking for the Server side database to compare Express (Server) with Compact. The test harness simply looks for an empty database called PerfSamples. The connection string is: Data Source=.sqlexpress;Initial Catalog=PerfSamples;Integrated Security=True I've updated the Perf Test Harness to include the server side database creation script. In the top of the solution, there's now a folder for InitialSetup. Hope that helps, Steve
