AdventureWorks Sales Model
This topic contains the conceptual model, storage model, and mapping information for the AdventureWorks Sales model. The AdventureWorks Sales model is used in example code in the Entity Framework documentation and is based on the following tables in the AdventureWorks database:

The conceptual model, storage model, and mapping information are expressed in conceptual schema definition language (CSDL), store schema definition language (SSDL), and mapping specification language (MSL), respectively. The recommended way to create these models and mappings is by using the Entity Data Model Wizard or the edmgen.exe command line tool.
